Why is my senior dog pawing at a painful spot under his ear?

Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Male | unneutered | 62 lbs

What is this and how can i help my dog? His name is Scooby, he is like 10 years old and something under his ear is hurting him He hits this place with his paws/legs and doesnt like this place touched for a long time. He has cancer (you can see it on his front right leg, i will replace the bandage after i send this to you)

This looks very painful and ulcerated which can happen due to many processes including tumors and long standing infection or inflammation. A biopsy of the area may help confirm a definite diagnosis. Please have him assessed urgently so a treatment plan to help ease the discomfort and distress can be discussed
