My cat's chin is red, but has hair and isn't itchy. Is it ringworm?

Hi This is Jane. And I have a mix cat name cheese. He is 5 years old. Recently I find out he have a red chin.Just red, there are still have hair and I don't think he is itching. I am not sure what happen to his chin and I am worried if it is ringworm.

Poor Cheese! The area does look irritated, however with ringworm it usually involves hairloss as it spread outward. Other causes of redness like this could include irritation from an allergy rubbing against something or eating it, or the beginning of an infection. I would have the spot checked out by Cheese's vet to rule out ringworm and infection anyway if it doesn't resolve, stays red, or begins to have hairloss.
