Pet's info: Dog | Cockapoo | Female | unspayed | 2 months and 28 days old | 9 lbs
We got our puppy two days ago from a breeder. We’ve been trying to start potty training but every time we go outside to let her pee, she doesn’t want to it. She’s done it three times but after that, time goes by outside. Once we get her back in, she pees like 5 min after. Urgent Help!

Zoey is only two months old, she is still learning. Potty training takes time and patience, and it's not going to happen quickly. It can take months sometimes. I will give you the method that has always worked for me. Start by keeping your puppy on a regular feeding schedule, and taking away her food between meals. Take her out to potty first thing every morning, and once every 30 minutes to an hour. Always make sure she goes out after meals, first thing when she wakes up from a nap, last thing before bedtime at night, and right before you leave the house. Take her to the same spot each time to go potty. Her scent there will encourage her to go. Stay with her outside each time she goes to potty, at least until she is fully house trained. When she goes outside, praise her and give her a treat. You might want to consider crate training as part of her house training. It allows you to keep an eye on her for signs that she has to go potty, and will teach her to hold it until you put her outdoors. The crate needs to be big enough for her to stand up, turn around, and lie down, but it should not be big enough for her to go potty in.

It looks like Kimber is only 2 months and potty training takes some time. I would get her a smaller crate while she is small. It should have enough room to stand up and turn around in. The smaller crate will discourage her from urinating or defecating in her crate because she can not get away from it as she likely can in a larger crate. Take her from the crate immediate outside and make sure she spends a good amount outside before bringing her back in. Continue to praise her and give her a treat when she goes outside and a stern no when she is inside. Watch for her signs that she is going to pee inside (sniffing around, going to the door, posturing, etc) Consistency is key and it sounds like you are doing great so far. Puppy training classes do help as well. Try and find a local trainer if all else fails.
