My hamster ate a bead. What should I do if she swallowed it?

My hamster was running around this couch kind of thing and there was a bead under it. I don’t know if there were more then one bead but if she put the bead in her mouth what should I do?

Thanks for reaching out about Minnie. You can try to massage the bead out of her cheek pouch if you can feel it. If the bead is large, probably not able to swallow it. If Minnie is lethargic, a veterinary visit is recommended, the sooner than better. It is not possible to induce vomition in hamsters. Good luck.
