Help! My 2-month-old puppy has black poop with blood. Is it serious?

My 2 month old puppy’s poop is black with some blood, i have the flu and he seems like he’s caught it i don’t know if it has something to do with his poop.

It could be extremely rare for a dog to get the flu from a human, so I don't think it's that. Black poop with blood in it indicates bleeding in the upper and lower GI tract. This can have very serious causes like parvovirus, a foreign body, or eating something toxic. You need to take Coco into a vet immediately. Since you are sick, have a friend or family member take him in.

That could be many things and the most common are parasites, viruses and bacteria over growth. I recommend to have Coco seen today by the veterinarian. Blood in the stool is never normal. Vomiting blood is serious. The GI upset could be due to many conditions including eating something she shouldn't have, bacterial over growth, parasites (worms and giardia), poison, a bleeding disorder, pancreatitis, cancer or intestinal blockage. I recommend to have your pup examined by the veterinarian today. Try to remember to take in a stool sample. The doctor will check her for parasites and bacterial over growth and other diagnostics may be recommended as well. She needs the correct diagnosis in order to receive appropriate care. I recommend you take your puppies to the vet, along with a sample of their feces so the vet can run a fecal test if they so choose. Your puppies need regular deworming, as infestations of worms can make them very sick, and severe infections can be deadly. Worms in the stool (dead or alive) are cause for concern, and some types of worms can even be transmitted from dogs to humans and make them sick. Black stool may indicate blood, which requires treatment by your vet. My dog poop is black and she’s vomitiing excessively. What should i do?
Black stool could indicate blood in the stool. Vomiting, and black stool could be caused by parasites, change in diet, toxin ingestion, infectious viral diseases, blockage in the intestines caused by ingestion of a foreign body, or a mass/growth in the gastrointestinal tract. In the case of an unspayed female dog , pyometra (a potentially fatal infection of the uterus) is a possibility as well, and this is very concerning. Please have Cassie seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible, as vomiting and possible blood in the stool can lead to dehydration and anemia, and can be very dangerous if left untreated. I recommend taking in a fecal sample from Cassie to your vet as well, as that may aid them in making a diagnosis. Good luck, and I hope she feels better soon!

Black poo is very alarming as it may be a sign of intestinal or gastric bleeding. This could be caused by a gastric ulcer, intestinal injury, bleeding in the respiratory tract (and swallowing the blood), cancer, etc. This is an emergency and you will need to take Tyson Siu to your veterinarian for an exam today. Your vet will want to do blood tests and possibly an x-ray to rule out several diseases.

My 16 week old dog is passing black watery stool what is wrong with him
I would be very concerned that the black color of the stool is caused by bleeding higher up in the GI tract. At his age, Marshal could be suffering from parvovirus if he isn't fully vaccinated. I would take him into a vet immediately, as parvovirus is fatal without treatment. The vet can do a blood test to diagnose if he does have parvo, and can treat him for it. There is no cure for parvovirus, only supportive treatment. Other causes of bloody stool include hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, a foreign body, or intestinal parasites. Bloody diarrhea is very serious in a young puppy, so please take Marshal into a vet now.

My dog just pooped this out. Please help
This looks like a clump of blood probably dark/black as there may digested blood inside. These signs could be compatible with an inflammation infection of the gastrointestinal system and surrounding organs (like pancreas and liver). A clinical examination at your local veterinarian is immediately essential to confirm these clinical suspicions and treat appropriately. Hi I have a Chihuahua her name is Pixee she poo's a lot and it is a blackish color with blood in it she is 120 year old in dog years and can not see too well she sleeps a lot as well as eating is ok
Oh no, poor Pixee! It's very concerning that she is passing feces that have blood in it. If she is pooping a lot, she could have diarrhea. She really needs to see a vet as soon as possible because blood in the feces can have some very serious causes including eating something toxic, a foreign body, trauma to the GI tract, or GI tumors. I would take Pixee into a vet immediately to diagnose the cause of her bloody feces and the vet can discuss treatment options.

Blood in the poop can be caused by intestinal worms, a stomach illness, sudden change in diet, eating something rotten, a foreign body, or a severe illness like parvo. approx 3 months old, vomiting 10+ times per day, snotty/slimey w/ food vomit, hard black poop,drawed up and skinny. vet treated her for hookworms. she improved 1 day now back at it
It sounds as Roxy is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong.
