My cat has diarrhea, can't afford vet. What home remedies help?

My cat of 7 has Diarrhoea all over my house she eating and mobile but I’m at my wits end my vets isn’t open till Monday and I can’t afford emergency vet bills and advice grateful please

Poor Beau! Withhold food for 12 hours, then feed a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. If the diarrhea continues on the bland diet, he starts vomiting food, stops drinking water, starts vomiting water, or becomes very lethargic, he will need to see a vet right away.

    I'm sorry Katie has been having diarrhea! If you can't get her to your vet until Monday, I recommend withholding food for 12-24 hours, then feeding a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. If that doesn't help clear up the diarrhea, have her seen by a vet first thing Monday morning.

    Hi, and thanks for your question. As a first approach, despite the underlying cause, I would suggest to withhold food for the next 8-12 hours and then start feeding with a bland diet based on boiled chicken and rice in small portion every 6 hours for the following 48hours. Then gradually reintroduce the normal diet over 5 days. I would definitively recommend a veterinary check up if the signs persist or you notice vomiting, lethargy or inappetence. You aren't disturbing as at all! This is what we are here for :-) Is that diarrhea? I can give you a home remedy for Kiko to see if that helps. Feed him a bland diet of boiled white meat chicken (no bones) in small amounts several times a day for a couple of days. Then slowly add back in his normal diet. My cat has had diarrhea for a few days. He has no other symptoms. He is active and playing. No vomiting. No lethargy. Does not seem to be in pain. He has not had a change in diet. Seems to be well hyrdrated. I do have a vet appointment for him next

My cat Oreo was tired yesterday and today he threw up twice and had diarrhea he refused to eat only drank water are these symptoms of a common cold?? And if so what home remedies can help?? because I currently can’t go to the vet .
Unfortunately those are very vague symptoms of illness, rather than pointing to any one thing. Vomiting, diarrhea, and refusal to eat are all signs of something ongoing such as potential GI upset, underlying illness, infections, etc, and if they continue for more than a day, should be seen by a vet to rule out more serious problems and narrow down the cause. You can try offering a bland meal of some boiled chicken, however if Oreo refuses to eat for more than a day that is considered serious and needs to be checked out. My cat has diharhea (dripping from his anus when he just sits, all over walls) I’m really worried about him and I can’t afford to take him to a vet. He had some loose stool two days ago but it seems to have gotten worse since then.
Hi there and thank you for using pet coach to address your concern. I would recommend starting a bland diet of chicken and rice as well as a probiotic such as Purina fortiflora. I would feed this at least 3 days beyond the resolution of the diarrhea. If this does not help, I would recommend having a veterinarian examine him so that the most appropriate diagnostic and treatment recommendations can be made. I hope this helps!
