Pet's info: Small Animal | Hamster | Female | unspayed | 11 days old
My hamster gave birth to five beautiful baby hamsters, she fed them well, but when i woke up today I didn’t find her in the cage, i looked for her everywhere but couldn’t find her, the babies aren’t even 12 days old and I’m scared that they wouldn’t make it, can you give me some tips of how to take care of them, and can i give them any powdered milk? Or is it necessary to give them kitten’s milk?

Thanks for reaching out about your hamsters and including photos. First, continue to look for the mother. Kitten or cow's milk is not the same as hamster milk and quite possibly will lead to diarrhea in the babies. Hamster milk is typically very concentrated so using a mixture of goat's milk and condensed milk might work. Try offering finely chopped vegetables, placing them in the mouth and monitor for ability to chew. This will be difficult. Good luck.
