Why did my healthy dog scream eating dry food, then eat chicken?

Hi my 8 month bichoodle just screamed in pain while eating dry food. Vet checked 3 weeks ago and healthy and teeth perfect - she settled after 5 minutes then even ate some chicken?? Not sure what happened but she was screaming ! Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | spayed | 8 months and 28 days old | 9.7 lbs

We can see these signs with oral or neck pain, but self limiting episodes of unknown generic pain are possible as well. Salivary glands inflammation, neck pain due to nerve impingement or more severe dynamic intervertebral discs compression are only few of the possible differentials. Practically I would recommend to monitor her and see if the signs are repeating over time. If that is the case a check up could be needed.
