My dog ate a lot of donuts and is bloated. What should I do now?

My 5.5yr old Male Staffy (27kg) ate 11 cream donuts. (Left on top of kitchen counter and he got to it when i moved my car into the garage). He looks distressingly bloated and is licking his lips. No pooping, no vomitting yet. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Male | neutered | 60 lbs

Hi there and thank you for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach to address your concern. It sounds as though Scooby has a bit of food bloat. I would fast him for 24 hours and let him digest the donuts he ate. He may develop dietary indiscretion, pancreatitis, etc. If he begins to vomit and become lethargic, then I would take him in to be seen by a veterinarian so that the most appropriate treatments recommendations can be made.
