My dog has fleas. Seresto vs chewables: Which is best for fast relief?

I just visit the vet because my dog was constantly scratching and kept licking his tail. She said it was fleas she recommended Seresto, will this work? Or should I have gotten chewables. This is very upsetting to me. Please advise. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Large (61lb +) | Male | 2 years and 1 month old | 55 lbs

The chewable flea products are the best on the market and work the fastest. I recommend Simparica or Nexgard. You may ask about returning the collar and getting the flea oral flea products instead. The collar will work but not as quickly so Grim will get more flea bites (and hence more itching and skin inflammation) than if he was on an oral product.
