Budgie ate apple, shook head. Is it safe? What fruits can my budgie eat?

I gave my budgie apple for the first time today, she tasted it 3-4 times followed by a vigorous shaking of head.. is there something wrong with that? Should i stop feeding her apples? She likes sugarcane so far.. what other fruits can i feed her something that birds commonly like? Pet's info: Bird | Parakeet | Female

It could be that Tweety just isn't used to apple yet. I would keep offering it to see if she starts to like it. Other veggies such as salad greens, strawberries, broccoli, etc may be fun for her to try out. Remove any uneaten food daily to avoid spoiling.
