Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 8 years and 1 month old | 12 lbs
I left out a critical piece of info on a question I asked earlier. I hope it's ok to rephrase & repeat the question. I have an 8yo timid female cat who used to go outside before we moved to a big city 2 yrs ago. I've leash & stroller trained her & work in a pet-friendly office, but she doesn't like to go out with me & her feet get all sweaty & she pants. But when I leave her home alone I hear her cry on my security cams. Am I causing her undue stress by trying to provide outside enrichment?

I'm concerned that she pants when going outside, and that tells me she's really distressed. I do think it's causing her extra stress to go outside, and I would stop it for now. Put a cat tree by a window so she can look outside.
