Why does my ball python whistle while shedding? Should I worry?

Pet's info: Reptile | Python | Female | unspayed

So I have a ball python whom is currently shedding she’s making like a whistle noise when handled but there is no mucus or anything else associated with RI and she ate Friday and is healthy should I be worried ?

Thanks for reaching out about Lilith. Check and correct husbandry parameters for temperature range. Try increasing to 90-95 F in the warm end, to try and stimulate the immune system. Continue to monitor for nasal discharge or increased oral mucous. If the condition progresses, a veterinary visit is recommended. Good luck.
