I need a detailed example of what to and how to make my four legged son his daily food . I am completly done with buying garbage from company's il . I thought I was doing good feeding acana , learned it is the number one in a long list of dog foods causing people's dogs to have some type of cardio myopithy sorry spelling . What treets can I make ? When I cook I'll be wanting to make enough to last awhile feezi g it. Mistr Bear Bear is allergic to chicken and gets yeast jnfec all over cnstantly

It's very hard to get the correct balance of nutrients to keep your dog healthy with a homemade diet and instead of trying to do it yourself, I recommend checking out these two websites I will link to below. They are run by veterinary nutritionist and provide recipes for homemade diets that are both healthy and balanced for dogs, providing al the nutrients they need. Science Diet Z/D is great for dogs with food allergies. I recommend trying Clyde with that to see if it helps. Royal Canin also have a Hypoallergenic dog food that is good for dogs with food sensitivities that manifest as skin issues. I hope this helps!

There are some grain-free foods that utilize peas instead of sweet potatoes, so looking at some grain-free products in your local pet store may help you find a product that works if Chevy can't handle it. A food trial with your vet where you eliminate everything, and then slowly work back up to it can also help see if there is a particular food causing Chevy's skin problems. In a lot of cases, the allergy is to a protein source, and not a grain or carbohydrate, so trying out some novel proteins such as turkey, venison, duck, etc may also help if the issue is food-related.

Dogs are omnivores and can get enough nutrition from a balanced commercial vegetarian food. If you would like to try a meat diet, you could consider a novel protein diet. A novel protein is one that Buddy hasn't eaten before. You could consider venison, bison, fish or duck.
