Pregnant cat vomiting and pink clots. Is she in labor or miscarrying?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 1 year and 6 months old

My cat is pregnant. Her first pregnancy was a miscarriage, the second one went smoothly and now she is on her 3rd. I found her puking this morning. she puked a clear foamy vomit several times and I noticed this weird vaginal pink clots everywhere. Her eyes seem sunken as well and you can see her 3rd lids. But she is not dehydrated. I don't know if this is normal and she is going to deliver or she is going through another miscarriage. Also, should I do something to ease the pain? Thank Youu!

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Ivy. If possible, she should see a veterinarian for an ultrasound. This will confirm fetal heartbeats to see if the kittens are still alive. Do give any over-the-counter pain medications as these can be toxic to cats. I hope this information helps. Good luck!
