My dog ate trash, now restless and nervous. What should I do?

Before i noticed what meeko was doin and stop him, meeko got into a fast food bag of trash that was by the dumpster. Now he is very restless and nervous. I think he ate something other than food. He drinks and eats treats but wont stay still or get off couch, his bed. He wont throw up. Its been couple hours. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | neutered | 5 years and 6 months old | 21 lbs

Other gastrointestinal signs like vomiting or diarrhoea are expected and more signs may show up. I would monitor him closely for the next 24hours and if you notice any sign or if the ones she is showing now are persisting, a check up would be required.
