What is this small, dry wound on my cat's neck? Should I worry?

Pet's info: Cat | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 5 lbs

Small wound on neck, no puss, had hair blood spot in it but is now dry and clear, any guess what it is? See picture. 16month old cat, part siamese

Thank you for contacting Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach with your question about Blazko. Poor boy. This could just be from an injury. Given there is no sign of infection, I'd monitor it for now. If it does appear infected (pus, redness, swelling, warmth to the touch), then I'd have him checked out by a vet. I hope this helps!

    This could be a fight wound, a parasite, or an abscess on your cat's neck. All of those things would require immediate veterinarian attention so I would recommend going to a veterinary emergency clinic this weekend to get checked out. Good luck!
