My hamster has a small bump near his eye. Should I be concerned?

Ok so I have a Russian Dwarf Hamster (Winnie) who is approx. 14 months old. I just noticed this small bump near his eye. It feels/looks like a white head. Nothing about his behavior has changed/he isn't picking at it. Should I be worried? In the pic, you can see the bump only when I part his hair. Hes my baby and I want to help him.

Thanks for reaching out about Mr. Winnie and including a photo. Wart-like growths are common in hamsters, and are usually benign. If continues to growth or shows signs of discomfort, a veterinary visit should be scheduled. And he needs his nails clipped. Good luck.
