Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Male | unneutered | 19 lbs
Found this dog 1 month ago. I have been treating his skin since day one. Coconut oil by mouth and topical, skin and coat supplements and grain free skin dog food. Pics are after applying coconut oil to skin. Just concerned it’s mange.

If the skin is not getting much better after 1 month, I recommend to have him examined. Those spots on Ollie could be several things including allergies, skin mites, flea bites, an endocrine disease or a bacterial infection. You can try adding in an omega 3 fatty acid supplement for dogs, this can help improve the skin health. You may also try changing his diet to something like Royal Canin or Nutro as they are aimed at skin health. Dogs are generally not allergic to grains. Protect the areas from licking or scratching and he may need to wear and Elizabethan collar at all times. Checking for mange is easy and I recommend to have this done. Best of luck and please feel free to post any additional questions.
