My puppy whines to go out hourly to pee. Is this normal behavior?

My dog wants to go outside every hour or so. Every time we take her out she pees. I took her to the vet and they said everything seems fine. Is this a bad habit?? I have been trying to take her every 2 hours but she whines. Why is is behaving this way? Pet's info: Dog | Rat Terrier | Female | spayed | 6 months and 24 days old | 14 lbs

She is a puppy and they tend to go out a lot as they are learning to listen to their bodies when they need to go to the bathroom. As she grows older, she will likely grow out of this habit. The best thing to do is to reward her when she goes to the bathroom outside, only when she goes. Give her toys to keep her busy at home so she does not constantly want to go outside as much.
