My cat is drooling, gagging, won't eat, and hiding. What's wrong?

My cat keeps drooling and occasionally gagging like there is something stuck in his throat. Wont eat/drink and hasn't move from under the bed since last night.

Oh my. These are very concerning symptoms I'm afraid. I would highly recommend taking Leo to your local vet right away. I am worried that Leo may have a toxin ingestion, foreign body obstruction, or even kidney disease is a possible cause here. Until you can get him seen you can try offering some canned tuna and white rice to see if you can entice him to eat a bit of food. I hope that your furry friend Leo feels better soon!     This not eating and lethargy are both signs that Leo is sick. He may be laying in a wet spot because he's hot and is trying to cool down. A loss of appetite and lethargy can be signs of systemic illness, infection, or injury. Without seeing him in person, I can't say for certain what is causing his symptoms. I can say it's very serious when a cat won't eat, so you need to take him into a vet immediately. I hope this helps!
