My dog has bloody diarrhea and inflamed stomach. What's wrong?

My dog is poop a lot of blood he is in the vet right now but they checked and he has no any weird body inside but stomach and intestine are very inflamated

I'm sorry Nacho is sick but it's good that he's at the vet right now. It's the best place for him. He could be suffering from hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, may have eaten something rotten, or could have a severe bacterial infection causing the blood in his feces to name a few causes. Hopefully the vet can diagnose the cause and treat him for it. Best of luck with the vet!

Poor dog. Bloody loose stool is called hemorrhagic gastroenteritis (HGE) and is commonly caused by stress on the GI tract, although other possibilities are still possible. Which is why it is always recommended to get your pet checked by your veterinarian for a full exam, to make sure they are stable. And then the pet is typically prescribed an antibiotic (i.e. Metronidazole) and a probiotic to help the pet recover from this episode. Care has to be taken in the future to avoid stressful events, and also to limit food changes that can upset the GI (gastrointestinal) tract again, causing another bout of HGE. My dog is having bloody diarrhea. It's really bad. When she pooped there was a lot of blood. I'm not sure what's wrong. Her stomach is making noises and she's walking around crying. How could I help her.
I would take Xina into a vet immediately. If she is pooping blooding, she could be suffering from hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, a foreign body, may have eaten something toxic, suffered trauma to the GI tract, has GI ulcers, or parvovirus if she isn't fully vaccinated. All of these causes are extremely serious and require veterinary treatment now. Please take Xina into a vet right away to diagnose what is causing her bloody diarrhea so she can be treated.

My dog has been having great pain when he has bowel movement with blood coming out. I took him off all food for 24hrs to see if he would do better. He did for 24hrs. But this morning at 2am. He was curled up in pain and you can here his stomach. Then
I would call your vet and ask to be seen sooner, worked in between appointments, or find another vet that can see him, preferably today. Pain should not be left for days without being investigated. He may have eaten something that has it=rritated or injured his gi tract towards the end since the blood is so red. If it were bleeding higher, such as the stomach, the blood would be digested and be tarry and black. Whichever vet you see should do an exam, labwork and probably x-rays as well to determine what is wrong and based on these results they will be better able to tell you the best treatment plan.

I'm so sorry that Carlo is not feeling well. The most common reason that I see for having fresh blood in the stool is a condition called colitis. This is an inflammation in the large intestine that commonly occurs after a change in diet (or if they eat table scraps, get into the garbage, etc.) or have a stressful event. They can be acting normal with colitis even though they have diarrhea, but I have seen dogs lose their appetite or vomit as well. Most of the time it is easily treated with a bland diet and a course of an antibiotic. Another possibility is a more serious condition called hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. This causes severe bloody diarrhea and can result in life-threatening dehydration that necessitates hospitalization for IV fluids. I think the biggest thing to tell you whether to take him to the vet tonight or wait until your regular vet is open is his attitude, energy and appetite. My dog has had runny stools and accidents in the house for 2 days now and 2 hrs ago her stool was bright red blood
Poor Maggie! She is for sure having some degree of gastrointestinal upset. Sometimes dogs can develop gastrointestinal disease known as Hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. This condition needs to be treated aggressively and the sooner the better. Even if this is not the cause, Maggie would benefit from at the very least making sure she is not dehydrated and being on anti-diarrhea medications. If there is any indications for deworming therapy, this could also make sense for her. Have her examined by a veterinarian as soon as possible so that therapy can be started for her. In the meantime, make sure that she has fresh water available at all times. You may consider a bland diet consisting of white rice and boiled chicken which is highly palatable and usually very well-tolerated. Best of luck with your girl!

Blood in the stool, even if it seems to "go away" and come back later, is never normal. The fact that it's accompanied by diarrhea suggests colitis, or inflammation of the colon, as opposed to some type of bleeding mass in the rectum or colon. Colitis can have a number of causes, including dietary indiscretion (eating something rotten or non-food), parasites, food allergies/food sensitivities, inflammatory bowel disease, or infection. Leah may improve with a diet change, perhaps a more digestible diet specifically for gastrointestinal problems. To assume it's a "tummy issue" could be to ignore causes that are treatable, and at this point she's not only having diarrhea but she also lost her appetite. It's been three days and she's not improving, so I recommend having her seen by her vet for labwork to include parasite testing, blood work, and urinalysis for starters. If all is normal consider a bland diet (as recommended above), and a probiotic supplement. Ultimately, she may need to ha

My dog has always had a sensitive stomach, but today she has been vomited 5 times, usually just frothy mucus but now there’s a streak of blood in her vomit and she has pooped bright red blood and mucus.
It sounds as Chili is suffering from a gastrointestinal condition, possibly an infection. it could also be due to ingestion of a foreign body material. i would recommend taking her to the vet the first chance you get, she will need to be checked first, if the vet thinks it's a simple gastrointestinal infection she will need an anti vomiting injection, antibiotics and a special food for a few days in order to get better. if the vet thinks it is more serious she will need a blood test and possibly an ultrasound in order to find out what is wrong.

My dog has bloody slimy dihharea like stool, and has been having trouble voiding for the past few days. She keeps having accidents in the house. She wont eat when i feed her. I can hear her stomach making noises also.
These signs could be compatible with a colitis, which is an inflammation of the last part of the colon, usually related to dietary indiscretion. As a first approach, I would suggest to start feeding with a bland diet based on boiled chicken and rice in small portion every 6 hours for the following 48hours. Then gradually reintroduce the normal diet over 5 days. I would definitively recommend a veterinary check up if the signs persist or you notice vomiting, lethargy or persistent inappetence. House was broken into last night he was in his room so I didn't think the people messed with him but he has Dirrehea with blood spots and vomited three times in the last 8hrs can't hold down food.
Vomiting with bloody diarrhea is a situation which requires veterinary attention. You don't mention the age of your dog but parvovirus would be a possibility in a younger dog. Other possible causes would include severe GI parasitism, gastroenteritis, hemorrhagic gastroenteritis, ingestion of a foreign object, and inflammatory bowel disease. With a combination of vomiting and blood diarrhea your dog can become dehydrated quickly, so a vet visit is recommended ASAP. They may test your dog's stool sample and take an x-ray to help determine the cause of his symptoms.
