Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Female | spayed | 1 year and 6 months old | 5 lbs

Hey there. I’m in desperate need of help for my cat. Everywhere is closed today so I can’t visit a vet. My cat Rosie is 1yr and 7 months old. She’s never been one to throw up often or more than once when she does get sick. Today from 4 am till now she had vomited, 12 times. They mostly are consisted of bile, have a orange, clear, yellow tint with some foam. The 11th time (about 15 minutes ago it was projectile vomiting) and then again the 12 time.I have no idea what to do. If you can help, please do

I'm sorry Rosie is so sick! Given the amount of times she has vomited, I honestly cannot recommend a home remedy because she sounds so sick. I do think she needs to see a vet now. I would check to see if there is an ER vet clinic in your area. If not, there will be a vet on call for emergencies even if the vets are closed. The information to reach that vet is found on a clinic's answering machine or website. Until you can get her into a vet, withhold food, keep offering her water, and keep her warm and comfortable. Best of luck, I hope this helps.
