My dog has a bump on his stomach. Is it a nipple? Is limping related?

Ok so the other day my dog fell asleep and he always rolls on his back so his stomach was showing, he has this frekle near his leg which is completely normal for him but a few centimetres above it was this bump, at first I thought it was a tick and freaked out. After looking closer at it, it looked like an inverted nipple maybe? I have no idea. He doesn’t seem to be in any pain, he was limping the other day but I don’t know if that was related.

I agree, the bump in the picture looks like a nipple, which is a normal part of a dog's anatomy. Chewy's limping won't be related to that, and limping is a sign of pain in dogs. It could be he injured himself causing the limping. If he's no longer limping, I wouldn't be concerned, but definitely take him into a vet tomorrow if he is still limping. Best of luck.

The 2 lumps either side of his penis look like normal nipples to be honest. This mark on the pad could be a reaction to a small wound or could be a growth in the skin. If the pup is lame on the leg I would have it checked tomorrow, otherwise monitor it or growth or change.

My dog nipples have swollen up and there looks like a tiny lump on one I don’t no if I’ve just googled stuff and scared my self also her back leg is sore she is walking out struggling jumping up it keeps coming and going hope you can help Thankyou
Thank you for submitting your question regarding Dolly. I recommend that she sees her veterinarian when possible. Her nipple may just be a bit larger than the others. However, dogs can develop mammary masses. Her veterinarian will feel the nipple and surrounding gland to see if this may be the case. If so, surgery is typically recommended. Hopefully this is not necessary though. Her hindlimbs can be evaluated at the same appointment. If she is struggling to get around and jump, it needs to be determined if her legs are sore or if the pain is actually in her back. Regardless, this is likely a separate issue from the nipple. The veterinarian will try to determine where she hurts and may recommend x-rays of the affected area. Based on these results, treatment can be started to help her feel better. In the meantime, keep her quiet and carry her as much as possible. Do not give any over-the-counter pain medications as these can be toxic to dogs. I hope this information helps!

My dog has a pea sized ball-like hairless, skin colored lump on the top of his front paw. He has been limping on it for quite some time.
This lump looks like it could be a cyst or other skin growth or tumor, and I doubt it is related to the limping. The limping more likely would be related to arthritis, previous trauma or other joint disease. I'd recommend seeing your veterinarian. They can examine the lump and may recommend taking a sample using a small needle to determine what it is. They can also examine Moose's leg and may recommend taking x-rays.

Thank you for using Boop by Petco! I can see the bump you are referring to in the wrist area. This can be a mass, bone cyst, fracture, or infection of the joint and is likely painful. I recommend having your dog seen by a vet as soon as possible. Your vet can take x-rays to determine exactly what is going on. i hope this helps and that all is well!

This is often differentiated by a test called a fine needle aspirate (FNA) which is a pain free, inexpensive and easy procedure which in most cases will help reach a diagnosis. Sometimes a biopsy is needed for a definitive diagnosis. I recommend that you have him evaluated by your veterinarian for further assessment and treatment. I am really hoping for something benign. Do I have to worry about my 8 year old toy poodle with this limp/pimple.
A limp is always something to worry about. Limping is a sign of pain. Your dog may have an injured leg or paw, bone problems, a sprain, tendon and ligament problems, arthritis. The pimple may be a little abscess, cyst or a tumor *warts, e.g. are benign tumors). You should have it examined by your veterinarian. An abscess can usually be treated with antibiotics and/or be lanced, and a cyst can be evacuated. Your vet may want to do a fine needle aspirate (he takes some material from the bump with a needle and then looks at it under the microscope) to determine whether the mass is concerning. Your vet can then examine the limp as well.

My 6 year old German Shepherd has a bump a little smaller than a golf ball on her rear paw. She is a indoor pet and only goes outside on a leash 2x per day. My family noticed her limping earlier today.
Lumps can be caused by a cyst, abscess or a tumor. Suspicious lumps should be checked out at your veterinarian. Your vet will be able to do a fine needle aspirate and take a small sample of cells using a needle and examine them under a microscope to figure out what's causing the lump. The limping could be related to the lump, depending on what it is, or it could be a separate issue and your vet will be able to examine Bella and determine if she needs further work up for that such as X-rays.

My pitbull has two lumps on his penis in about the middle. He is somewhat limping with his back leg as if they're stiff but the lumps have gotten smaller after a few minutes. I dont have money to go to the vet I just need to know what it possibly is
If these lumps on Woofy's penis are in the middle of his penis, then likely what you are seeing are his bulbourethral glands. These are a normal part of a dog's anatomy, and swell when the dog is aroused or excited. This is not something you need to take him to an ER vet for :-) This limping may be caused by his arousal, but keep an eye on it for now. If the limping continues over the weekend, then I would have him seen by a vet, as it may have been caused by an injury which the vet can diagnose and treat.

Have a 3yr old GSD with a small bump under one nail. Seemed sore yesterday and was limping and licking, today was able to touch his paw and check ... looks almost a bit like dirt but doesn't come off... Wondering if something I need to worry about?
It is very difficult to tell from these photos, it is possible that your dog's toe nail became slightly torn/detached from the underlying nail bed and you are seeing the separation here. We can, however, occasionally see nail bed tumors. I would recommend a visit with your vet to better examine the area. If it is a loose toenail they may need to trim it back to make it more comfortable until it grows back in normally. This can be very tough to do at home because often these guys are painful so trimming the nail back can be really difficult without skilled help!

My dog is 12. At beginning of March he started with a small lump, photo on right. In last fortnight it has got bigger, photo on left. He is displaying no other symptoms, he does limp, he’s not constantly licking at at it etc.
I don't see any photos attached to this post so I am not able to see the lump. If the lump is getting bigger than you should have him examined by a vet to determine the cause. Your vet can do a needle aspirate to help diagnose and then your vet can recommend a treatment plan. He may need an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory, or your vet may want to remove the lump.
