Without seeing Reaper in person and examining the debris from his ears under a microscope, there is no way I can say if he has a yeast or mite ear infection. You will need to take him into the vet to get that diagnosed, and the vet can prescribe medication to treat it. I'd call the vet first thing in the morning to make an appointment. Best of luck.

Has Sonic been diagnosed with ear mites by a veterinarian or is this an assumption of what may be going on? Bacterial and/or yeast infections are much more common in dogs then ear mites are. I would highly encourage you to have him evaluated by your veterinarian soon. They may recommend topical antibiotics and anti yeast medications as well as steroids to make him feel better quickly. Best of luck and I hope he improves soon. Thank you for using Pet Coach.
