We brought in a stray kitten that had been hiding in bushes near our home recently. We think its a girl, but can't tell her age. I lured her out of the bushes with milk, which I now know wasn't good, but she seems fine. She is very playful and she even gets along with our dog. However, I have noticed that she poops a lot and its like a pudding like consistency. I haven't seen signs of tapeworms, but her stomach is firm too. I have been feeding her wet kitten food. Should I take her to a vet?

She looks very sweet! Weigh her. This will help with finding out her age. Count 1 week per 3.5 oz of weight. This will give you a fairly close estimate of age. She may have worms (too young for tape worms), so you should worm her with a kitten wormer. The soft stool could be caused by worms or change of food. You are doing well by feeding wet kitten food. She will need vaccinations by the time she is around 8 weeks old. Thank you for taking her in...she is beautiiful.
