Pet's info: Dog | Boxer | Female | spayed | 9 years and 1 month old | 44 lbs
I was wondering if I can give my dog Apocaps given that she has insulinoma. I don’t wish to put her through a scan and possible surgery for definite diagnosis as she is a nine year old boxer who doesn’t respond well to anaesthesia. At the moment just giving her honey when she has hypo attacks. She is not taking any medication at the moment.

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Brooke! Yes, you can give her the Apocaps, they will not hurt her. Be sure you are feeding her multiple small meals per day. Discuss starting her on steroids if you are not doing to do surgery. There are medical options to treat insulinomas. I wish you the best!
