My dog ate a rug placer. Is it dangerous for my medium-sized dog?

My dog ate a small rug placer that helps the to stop moving around a lot I'm not sure if it's dangerous or not to him and Loki is a medium sized dog.

Hi and thanks for posting! Any type of foreign object or material ingested has the potential to cause a problem. However, from the picture, it doesn't looks like very much was torn off from the rug placer. These small pieces Loki ate may very well pass on their own without causing an issue, however, I would be on the look out for signs of a possible problem brewing such as frequent vomiting, diarrhea, lack of appetite and lethargy.
