Why is my Labrador scratching, groaning, and losing hair excessively?

My labrador Retriever scratches his body sometimes and in the process he lose a lot of hair and scattered all over his room, sometimes he even groan while scratching his body. What could be the problem. Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Female | 33 lbs
