Unfortunately, IBD has a very poor prognosis. Ultimately, it is a fatal disease for infected snakes. Diagnostics, such as biopsies of certain organs, can confirm the condition. There is no effective treatment and humane euthanasia is typically recommended to prevent suffering in later stages of illness. https://www.petcoach.co/article/inclusion-body-disease/
