My dog's paw wound is getting bigger and not healing. What's wrong?

Hi! We've been bandaging and cleaning this wound on our Vizsla's back paw for several weeks. It was small initially, but has since increased in size. Any idea what it is? We think it was caused by running or hiking through the woods. Pet's info: Dog | Vizsla | Female | spayed | 3 years and 5 months old | 50 lbs
