Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! You are likely describing teething which is basically a normal type of behavior when puppies are growing up and it is secondary to mouth discomfort as teeth are growing. I recommend that you get Pechi teething type toys which you can get at your local pet store or online. Anytime that she tries to nibble at you, you say no and give her the toy. This is likely going to resolve the issue but it does take time as this is a normal part of their growth. Good luck and have a good night!

Puppies bite and chew out of boredom, when playing and during teething. As an owner, it is up to you to teach what is appropriate chewing and what is not. Always provide appropriate chew toys for your breed of dog. Correct Hades when he is chewing inappropriately (either the wrong item or too rough). Praise and reward him when he chews appropriately. If he gets too riled up during play, avoid those actions that bring him to that point. Increase exercise and activity with him to distract him so he doesn't get bored and resort to chewing or biting. A trainer can assist you in teaching the "No bite" command and other basic commands.

At the moment because of her age it is considered normal as she is a puppy and is teething as well, buying her toys to chew on and encourage her to use them instead of your hands to chew can help though.

I recommend that you get Lido teething type toys which you can get at your local pet store or online. Anytime that she tries to nibble at anything, you say no and give her the toy. This is possibly going to resolve the issue. However, it does take time and most importantly consistency. Good luck and have a good night!

This can be a very frustrating issue! The height of teething typically occurs around 4 months of age, so while Pallas may be exhibiting some pre-teething biting, this may also be a result of normal puppy exploration. That said, biting is not a behavior that should be considered acceptable! The best things that you can do are to firmly say no when she bites you, give her an appropriate chew toy for puppies (such as Kongs or Nylabones for puppies), and walk away for a few minutes. It will take a lot of repetition for her to realize that biting is not appropriate, but be patient and consistent! I hope this helps and that all goes well!
