My dog ate a tiny bit of raw tofu. Should I worry about her?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Japanese Spitz | Female | spayed | 2 years and 7 months old | 11 lbs

My dad as a revenge gave raw tofu to my dog, I fastly stop her, she didn't eat it a lot, almost nothing, maybe 5-10 grams or even that not, I know it's really almost nothing (so it's little weird to ask for that small amount) but I want to be sure anyway??

Hi and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach. A very small amount of raw tofu is nothing to worry too much about. Tofu or soy is not toxic to dogs but may cause an upset stomach, diarrhea, or vomiting. I hope this helps and thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
