My cat got out while in heat. Will she find her way back home?

My cat is a little over a year old and recently went into heat.One of our windows was somehow broken and she got out it while we were sleeping.We’ve done EVERYTHING and even seen her a couple times.We even brought her home but still didn’t know where she was getting out at this point.I’ve seen her male around but no sign of her.It’s been 5 days and all I can do is worry.Will she come back home?Does she even know how? Hi and thanks for posting- I am sorry to hear Gumble has escaped! Cats are very intelligent and also have very good navigational skills, so she may be able to find her way home, but it is hard to say for sure. If she is micro-chipped, anyone with a microchip scanner (vet's office, shelter, rescue organization, or police) will scan her for her chip number which can help bring her back home. I hope Gumble comes home soon!
