My dog has tick fever (Babesia). Why is his fever so short?

Pet's info: Dog | German Shepherd | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 5 months old

In b. Gibsoni positive do dogs get fever all the time or for 24 hrs because my dig had fever like 24 hrs and like he started to have fever todau morning 6am till next morning 11 am and i have given crocin as prescribed by vet and his blood reoort show b.gibsoni positive so my vet told me he has tick fever so if he has tick fever then why he has fever for a day only sonis it really a tick fever or some other fever

Hi and thanks for posting! If Bruno was diagnosed with a tick borne illness by his veterinarian, the fever he experienced may be due to this. If he was placed on any inflammatory medications, this would have helped his fever subside. There are many other medical causes of fever in dogs aside from tick borne diseases which should be explored and ruled out with Bruno's veterinarian.
