My cat suddenly meows loudly at 5 AM daily. How can I stop it?

Pet's info: Cat | Domestic Shorthair | Male | neutered | 1 year and 9 months old | 15 lbs

My cat Lucas keeps meowing very loudly,hes never done this before. He starts every day at 5am and continues then around 8 or 9am suddenly stop he gets fed at 7:15 am for morning feedings and then at 6:25pm for afternoon feedings. He meows in small tones throughout the day as well... and he stands in front of my bed at 5 am meowing loudly then climbs on my bed and begins needing my leg or back. He goes to the bathroom or and eats and drinks well,we play with him not often but spread out

It doesn't really sound like a medical issue but it is always best to have a vet check him out if there is a drastic change in behavior. Medical issues should be ruled out before a behavioral issue can be presumed. If no medical problem is found then it is likely behavioral. He may be bored or needing more stimulation.
