My 8 month old puppy has been throwing up since last night. Just a few minutes ago she threw up and there was a little blood in it. Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 6 months and 26 days old | 5 lbs

The blood in the vomit is concerning. It can be due to the irritation of frequent vomiting or it could indicate a more serious problem such as a stomach ulcer, pancreatitis, a severe infection or a condition known as hemorrhagic gastroenteritis. She may need some diagnostic testing and likely some supportive care such as anti-nausea medication, drugs to protect her stomach from bleeding and fluids to rehydrate her.
