My female bunny has lumps near her scent glands. Are they testicles?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Small Animal | Rabbit | Female | unspayed | 4 months and 14 days old

We have a bunny, abt 15 weeks old, not fixed yet(have to wait till old enough). She recently had these lumps appear on her hind that I'm pretty sure aren't supposed to be there. You can see the swollen lumps on either side where her skin flaps that cover the scent glands are located. They are soft to the touch, like fluid filled and skin around is red. We checked the scent gland openings. They're clear, not clogged. Can it be treated at home or have to take her to vet. infection maybe or ?

From the photos, I believe that what you are looking at are testicles and that Sundae is actually a male rabbit. Has a veterinarian examined him/her and sexed your rabbit to determine if it was male or female?
