How to manage my unvaccinated puppy's wild energy indoors?

Updated On September 23rd, 2025

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Medium (23 - 60lb) | Female | spayed | 7 months and 14 days old

7 months old large breed puppy is still unable to go outside as her mixed vaccines aren't complete. as she can't get enough exercise in an apartment, she is constantly panting, jumping on us, barking and biting. It is nearly impossible to stay in the same room with her when she is not asleep. Are those conditions result from lack of exercise? When she completes her vaccines (2 weeks later) will they improve? I cannot afford a trainer. What should I do?Thank you.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Shiva. I would recommend that she receives regular daily exercise. It is necessary for her mental and physical health. You need to be careful to avoid sites frequented by other dogs and wildlife, but I do not think she needs to be combined solely indoors. Be conscious of where you take her, but give her some exercise. She will be much happier and so will you! I hope this information helps.
