I accidentally cut my hamster pretty bad while trimming his hair yesterday. It’s not bleeding but it looks bad. I put neosporin on it. Does he need stitches. Pet's info: Small Animal | Unknown - Small Animal | Male | unneutered | 2 years and 5 months old | 118 lbs

Snoopy should be physically examined by your veterinarian. He may not need sutures but he may need antibiotics to prevent or treat infection. His hair looks quite matted. His lack of grooming may indicate an underlying illness or injury which should be diagnosed and addressed by your vet.
