Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed | Female | unspayed | 28 lbs

i felt a small ball sized something on my dog's throat, she's 9 years old. what do you think is it? im scared about it, so i check my other younger dogs and they dont have it but when i check the other senior dog i noticed the same. is it normal? her appettite is normal, her drinking? tho i read somewhere that senior dogs are lazy to drink. and there's nothing wrong except the only changes i noticed is the change in her bark... a little bit.

It is difficult to say what the problem is without doing full clinical examination on Agua. However, it is quite common that the dogs' owners report that something 'doesn't feel right' in the throat but actually, it is normal anatomical structure. Throat area just can feel 'strange' in some dogs but there is nothing abormal there. Please, take Agua to your local vet for full clinical examination. If your vet is unsure (and for example he will suspect a mass in the throat, which sometimes happens), he will recommend examination of the throat under general anaesthesia and/or neck x-ray.
