My pitbull has a red scabbing bump on her face. What should I do?

My pitbull has a small red bump on her face, how can I treat it? She has had it for about a week. It scabs over after a day or two

Hi there! I think this is a small benign tumor on Kandi’s face. Sometimes these kinds of growths can go away on their own within a few weeks. If you are concerned about it, your vet can take a small sample and look at it under the microscope to give you a diagnosis. This is called a fine needle aspirate and cytology. Otherwise, just keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn’t get bigger or start to bother her. Hope that helps!
