It looks like my cat has fungal dermatitus. She digs right below the ears and her chin. How can I treat it?

Hello, sorry to hear about Jasper. It does not immediately look like a ringworm infection. This could be associated with allergies or mites. To differentiate these causes, a skin sample should be obtained and looked at under the microspcope for bacteria, yeast, or mites. A tuft of her can be submitted to look for ringworm. If these are negative, then Jasper could be having allergies. Have Jasper evaluated by her veterinarian to further assess her skin condition. In the interim, you may place a cone (e-collar) on to decrease her ability to scratch her head. She may need allergy medications and antibiotics to treat her scratching. Hope this helps and best of luck.
