My 3-week-old puppy is constipated. Is castor oil safe or what helps?

Hello I have a 3 week old puppy that is constipated and im trying to see is castor oil is ok for me to squirt into his bottom..if not what can I do to help him he weights about 3 or 4lbs

Hello, you do not need to apply any castor oil on your puppy. You could wipe his rear with a damp cloth and allow him to walk around more to stimulate him to go on his own. Feed hime wet food over dry food or offer him more water. Hope this helps and best of luck.
