Is it necessary for a dog that never goes outside to see a vet on a regular basis?

Hi and thanks for posting! YES! Even if Rody never goes outside or is exposed to other dogs, animals, etc, he should have a yearly check up to ensure he is in good health. Many medical conditions can occur regardless of whether he is outdoor or indoor such as dental disease, allergies, ear infections, and organ dysfunction. Always a good idea to get a second pair of trained eyes on Rody to ensure he is and remains in good shape. I hope this helps and thanks for posting on Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach!
