Poor Bruno! It sounds like he may have an ear infection, which is typically caused by a mix of bacteria and yeast. These conditions are very uncomfortable and can result in permanent damage to the ear and ear drum. Bruno should be seen by a vet as soon as possible to begin the appropriate oral and topical medications.

Thank you for submitting your question regarding Bruno. He will need to see his veterinarian as it is likely that he has a severe ear infection. A sample will be taken from each ear and evaluated under the microscope to determine the type of infection. If it is a bacterial infection, he may even require an ear culture. This will tell you the type of bacteria in his ear and which antibiotic will be most effective. Next, your veterinarian will prescribe a treatment and cleaning regimen. If he has had prior infections to this, ask about any underlying cause that may be predisposing him to repeat infections such as an allergy. I hope this information helps!
