Pet's info: Dog | Labrador Retriever | Male | neutered | 6 months and 6 days old | 80 lbs
He had clear vomit at 4 am, nothing in it and his tummy is rumbling but he didn't want dry kibble. Could this still be hunger pukes? He last ate at 5 the night before.

Hi and thanks for posting! Dogs do not typically vomit from hunger but may vomit for other reasons such as dietary indiscretion, gastric reflux, parasitic infection, gastrointestinal obstruction, and pancreatitis just to name a few. I would withhold food from Louie for the next 6-8 hours (he can have water) to give his stomach a break. If he continues to vomit today, I would take Louie into see his veterinarian.
