My dog only eats chicken, not dry food. Is this okay for his health?

So Thanos has gone crazy with the boiled chicken...he loves it buuutt i still want him to eat his dry food...so i gave him a small portion of chicken breast mixed in with his dry food .. He digs in for the chicken but leaves aside the dry food...should i keep doing this until he does eat the dry food alone?

There's a good chance Thanos will continue to only eat the chicken, which will result in a nutritional imbalance. You could try mixing canned food in with the dry food instead of chicken so make it harder for him to pick out. Or you could try soaking the dry food in water and then mixing in the chicken to make it harder for him to pick out. Thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach and good luck!
