Pet's info: Dog | Staffordshire Bull Terrier | Female | 11 years and 4 months old | 18 lbs

Hi, I've woke up this morning to about 6 piles of sick from my dog 2 piles of them being acid. She's got diarrhoea and is off her food. Also everytime she goes for a drink she's either being sick or trying to be afterwards. She's really lethargic and depressed.. I am really concerned as she really doesn't seem herself she also looks asif she's really really skinny. Should I be concerned and take my baby girl to vets?

Hi, thanks for using Petco Pet Education Center, formerly Petcoach! Poor Romani! Owners are the best judge, so yes I think she should be seen by a Vet now. If she can not hold down water and is vomiting that much with diarrhea, dehydration is a concern. Dehydration and belly pain can make dogs very lethargic as well. Since she is older and you think she is very thin I worry about kidney or liver problems, cancer, pancreatitis, or a blockage. I would be sure after the exam that the Vet does blood work and some X-rays of her belly. I wish Romani the best!
