Should I give my dog skin medicine if a vet didn't prescribe it?

Pet's info: Dog | Mixed Breed Small (up to 22lb) | Male | unneutered | 17 lbs

Can I give these medicine to my dog who has skin problems? (Medicines are not recommended by a vet tho but given by an experienced person on dogs)

I would not recommend using this medication on your dog. This medicine contains very unusual combination of active ingredients (antibiotic, anti-fungal agent, steroid and an agent against skin parasites). Giving steroids in fungal infections and parasites infestation is contraindicated but in this medicine they have been combined. It sounds that the tablets are for ' all possible skin problems' but by using it, for example in case of a mange or ringworm it could make things worse.
